Madness. Frenzy. Loopiness. Succumb to them in the depths of a looping nightmare.
I made this game in <96 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2025. The jam's theme is: LOOP.
I decided to make a game that incorporated the theme into not only the gameplay, but the level design, environment decoration, narrative themes, and gameplay mechanic.
The game's focus is on its mood and atmosphere, and the gameplay will not be difficult for inexperienced players. Measuring by both runtime and amount of gameplay variation, this is about 1/3 of what I intend for the "finished" product to be. I will definitely be finishing this one over the next month.

Many problems, needs work. Talking to the light entity hangs at some point, only way out is to zoom RMB and continue conversing. Lots of places to fall through the map. Player should be able to break conversation with cultist, instead of having to go through that long dialog over and over. I never could come to an end, if it has an end at this point, because I would eventually fall off the map, ending the game.
